Omega C67

The C67 chassis was initially introduced with the dichroic colorhead as the Super Chromega "C" Dichroic Enlarger. It was not until 1976 that the condenser lamphouse was made available and the name C67 was applied to both condenser enlarger and chassis.

The column was an XL length double-wall girder with rack and pinion elevation control. Lens mounts used were the same as for the B66, but negative carriers were unique. (Later C760 carriers can be used with the C67, though they do not work as well as the originals.)

Essentially, it provided the same features and professional quality as the D5 enlargers but in a medium format enlarger at a lower price.

When the C700 Dichroic Lamphouse was introduced, the Super Chromega C Lamphouse was discontinued along with the Chromega B Dichroic Lamphouse, so for the last year of its production, the C67 was sold with the C700 colorhead.

Used Advice: The C67 is fully serviceable, but some parts may be expensive if they need to be remanufactured. Plastic parts in the elevation lock system were prone to breakage.
