Intended as a basic, entry-level 35mm condenser enlarger, the A3 was a very unique design nonetheless. Its reflex lamphouse bore more resemblance to a Durst enlarger than other Omega designs. It was limited to just two formats - 35mm and 126, and most accessories were unique to the A3. It was sold with only the short column and no colourhead was ever available. Used Advice: Because the components of the A-3 were unique to this model, it should be closely examined to ensure that all parts are present as it may be extremely difficult to obtain replacements. |
